Abstract

Education is the process that prepares a child to be a part of his/her country. It should make the child a good and responsible citizen and give him/ her knowledge of the roles to perform, along with the reasons for doing so and the various forms of these. It is important for a good citizen to not just lookout for oneself but be aware of others. Good citizenship means considering the wider context and being prepared to participate in and engage with efforts to deal with and change situations detrimental to the nation or any of its people.
