Abstract

The baffled looked on the faces of teachers encountering the issue of disability in a in a classroom for a first time is largely due to our unpreparedness to accept that a 'mixed' classroom may also include students with disabilities, we seem to be willing to stretch our definition of mixedness only as far as the class, caste,ethnicity, race and gender.
